Is Zillow more accurate than realtor com? ›

In terms of listing sources, Zillow offers a broader variety of FSBO options, while Realtor.com ensures data accuracy with its focus on licensed agents, impacting potential buyer reach for each platform.

There could be a lag between when a house goes on the market and when Zillow's feed pulls it in. If the agent is doing well, they may not sign up for Zillow's services or upload their listings. In some sensitive situations, such as a divorce or death in the family, the owners may not want the home publicly listed.

We download listings from most MLS systems every 15 minutes; however, it may take up to 1 business day for changes to reflect on Realtor.com®. Ensure that you are searching for your listing by both the MLS Listing ID, and the address before ruling it missing.

Why would Zillow decline a listing? ›

If the listing is already coming from a listing feed, or another account in Rental Manager, it is very likely for your listing to be declined. Your listing is already posted for sale. Zillow Group does not support listings that are for sale and for rent simultaneously. Only one version of the listing will be published.
